Agile Requirements at Scale: Context Counts
Scott will kick off by sharing his views on how modelling can help put user stories into context with both technical and business solutions. He’ll explain why that context is so important in an agile project and provide guidance on modelling and artefacts, including “how much is enough”.
You will leave having gained useful and practical insights, plus potentially a few beers if we can arrange a sponsor in time!
For those who don’t realise Scott Ambler is one of those household names in the agile community (or just want to be impressed with how much agile stuff he’s done)….

Agile Australia 2009 Update
The Agile Australia 2009 conference has taken shape since I last checked. The program looks great, and if you have look at the speaker list you will spot some familiar names. Good to see, guys.
Due to a prior commitment I won’t be able to attend, which is very disappointing. I hope you all enjoy the gig, and that somebody is collecting presentations/notes.

The Agile Australia 2009 conference is on in Sydney on 15-16 October 2009. The website says:

Scrum through a Kaleidoscope and a Crystal Ball
Scrum makes sense from multiple angles. In this session we will identify connections between Scrum and such diverse things as the household “to do” list, financial markets and the relatively new field of social complexity science! We will also look into the crystal ball to consider where Agile and Scrum might be heading. Much of this is based on emerging trends and initiatives currently in the pipeline. We conclude by reflecting on how we can each play a part in shaping how Agile progresses into the mainstream software development community in Australia.
