Shall we get together?
Is anyone in Sydney interested in a Scrum community get together? My employer has moved into a nice new office and it would be a shame that it went to waste.
I was thinking an evening and maybe even have a brief presentation by someone and then a few drinks. (Or a few drinks then brief presentation, or a brief presentation with a few drinks.)
Anyone up for it? If we have a few interested parties I’ll put a notice on the yahoo group.

I’m up in QLD and I don’t get to Sydney much – so probably not, unless someone wants to do a QLD meetup. There are quite a few Scrum people up here – as Suncorp seem to be trailblazing at the moment, so maybe we will do something here too. There are few Agile people on meetup.com waiting for a meeting – http://agile.meetup.com
I do have another idea for something – we recently completed the 3rd successful Barcamp up here – and I think the format would work well for a Scrum meetup. To get get the most amount of people, it should probably include all Agilists – so XP and Agile people too. Anyway – I started a page on the BarCamp wiki if anyone is interested http://barcamp.org/AgileCamp

Absolutely. Are you in the Melbourne or Sydney offices though? If you’re in Melbourne, then yes it sounds like a great idea.
Drinks first though! ;-)
