More Scrum Gatherings

Posted by Andrew Hallam to 11 April, 08:46 PM

We’ve had a Sydney gathering, and we’re due for another one. However, it would be also great to get some gatherings happening in other locations around Australia. I know we have some Melbourne residents on the mailing lists so that seems like a good place to start.

The purpose of these gatherings is to meet other people using Scrum, and build a bit of a network. Nothing formal, just a chat over a beverage.

If you’re interested in attending a gathering please leave a comment below, or drop me an email, letting us know where you’re from. If there is some interest we’ll do what we can to make it happen.

Missed the first Sydney gathering and I’d like to make the next one.

I’m certainly up for a gathering. I missed the first due to a huge temporal black hole that sucked up all my waking hours. The black hole is still there but I’m in a slightly more distant orbit now so I should be able to come along.

Having missed the initial Sydney one, another one in Sydney would be great. Some time in early May?

Sydney: It has been suggested that we join the next Syxpac gathering. That sounds like a great idea, if we can synch up.

No date is set yet. I’ll let you know when I know.

      Guys,

I am trying to organise an Agile Interest group in Melbourne, I have been able to acquire the use of some premises and free food !!!

If you interested in agile methods and interested in creating an Agile Community please give me a call. I would like to organise an initial meeting where we can discuss the idea in a bit more details.

Is there a gathering in Perth?
I am also interested doing scrum certification. Is this offered in Perth?
