With Joseph Pelrine – Certified Scrum Trainer and Practitioner
Thursday February 8, 2007
Swiss-Grand Resort & Spa, Bondi Beach, Sydney

Course description from Joseph Pelrine:

The ScrumMaster Certification course was a very intensive training experience. Not only did it pack a great deal of information into just 2 days, much of the information also requires more than 2 days to internalise and understand. You may have left the course without the chance to immediately put into practice what you had just learned, thus losing context and forgetting the underlying reasons for Scrum.

This compact, 1-day course is aimed at Certified ScrumMasters who wish to refresh their knowledge about Scrum, understand the deeper reasons underlying Scrum’s effectiveness, and get answers to questions which have come up in the context of their actually applying Scrum. It will provide a review of Scrum concepts and an update on a number of topics, as well as providing a platform for attendees to discuss their experiences and problems implementing Scrum within organisations. Topics to be addressed include:

  • Review of Scrum concepts
  • Facilitating emergent team behaviour
  • Non-conventional techniques for problem solving
  • Scaling Scrum
  • Reporting and tracking
  • Social Networking

Other topics will be addressed according to the needs of the course participants.

This course is not a substitute for the ScrumMaster certification course, and is only open to Certified ScrumMasters.
