ScrumMaster Certification and Refresher Courses in early February 2007
Europe’s most experienced Scrum Trainer and Extreme Programmer – Joseph Pelrine – is returning to Sydney in February 2007 to conduct two courses for both new and experienced ScrumMasters. These are:
- ScrumMaster Certification Course – 6th-7th February
- ScrumMaster Refresher Course – 8th February
The ScrumMaster Refresher course is a rare opportunity for Certified ScrumMasters to brush-up, improve and extend their working knowledge of Scrum and related techniques.
Some thing you should know about Joseph:
- He worked as Kent Beck’s assistant whilst he was inventing Extreme Programming.
- He is Europe’s first Scrum Trainer and Practitioner.
- He has recently assisted the likes of SAP, Nokia, the BBC, Business Objects and Océ to successfully adopt Scrum.
- In addition to being a technical ace, he has worked extensively on the “People Side” of software development.
- Joseph is a partner of CATeams, a company applying cutting-edge techniques from cognitive psychology and social complexity science towards building and optimizing agile teams.
- His current interests include organisational complexity and its application to Agile processes.
- He is a member of the International Association of Facilitators.
- English(/American) is his first language.
- He moonlights around Europe as a Cordon Bleu chef! You can pick up some great recipes from his blog.
- His favourite programming language is Smalltalk.
- He is an all-round nice guy and when not on the road, he loves to spend his time in the beautiful Swiss Alps.
